Our practical timber offices, available from our North Tawton site are designed to be efficient in terms of utilisation of space and heat retention.
The attractive appearance of our timber home offices and studios will blend well into your garden. The pressure treated shiplap cladding will fade with time, although the preservatives in the timber will go on working for years.
Security is given high priority. The double glazed windows have locking catches and the doors are fitted with 5 lever mortice locks.
The size of your timber building, and layout of doors and windows, is a personal decision, as we manufacturer bespoke timber home offices and garden studios so that we can fulfil your personal criteria.
We will be happy to build to your requirements, within reason. The maximum width available is 6m with all lengths available, increasing in increments of 600mm.
Insulation of the building is achieved with the use of mineral wool and polystyrene insulation and double glazing. Together with the good thermal value of wood, this offers excellent U values for insulation. Internal partition walls are available, as required. Insulation ratings can be increased, if required, as we are able to offer foil backed insulation and Low E coated glass for optimum results. Please ask.
The interior walls and ceilings of our insulated home offices are lined with MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) to give a smooth finish, ready for painting. A skirting board is fitted to provide the finishing touch. Standard ceilings are installed level at eaves height. We also offer an attractive tongue and groove pine finish with a vaulted ceiling.
For electrical work we offer a full service including lighting, power points and heating including installation by a qualified electrician. Alternatively you are welcome to make your own arrangements.
