Devon garage and large timber building manufacturers, John Shields Woodwork have a wide variety of timber buildings on show for you visit at our main road site, near North Tawton, in mid Devon.
Chose a garage from our standard range or ask us to quote for a bespoke building to suit your requirements. Garages often need planning permission and we will be happy to make an application for this on your behalf.
Our timber garages provide warm and dry protection for vehicles and sundry equipment. If space permits, a workshop may be incorporated into the design. Many small businesses and public authorities use our garages, since they recognise the fine qualities that make John Shields Woodwork buildings special.
Doors. Tongue and groove double doors 2.4m wide for easy access. Roller or ‘up and over’ doors may be installed at extra cost. A personnel door may also be fitted, for convenient pedestrian access to the building.
Windows. Two window panes are included in every 3 metre section of garage. They may be fixed or opening. For additional lighting, translucent roof lights may be included.
Base. The customer is asked to supply a concrete base to our dimensions.
Roof. Constructed from strong plastic coated steel sheeting, slates or cedar shingles.
